My Thoughts:
Much more exciting than it's predecessor. No, seriously, Scarlet far surpasses Cinder in world-building, action, characters and ROMANCE!!!

In case you it's not obvious with my above statement, I LOVED Scarlet! Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed Cinder and its originality, but Scarlet played out like a box office film in my head. Meyer has out done herself in every possible way with her sophomore release!

We're introduced to so many wonderful characters that will have you swooning, laughing and crying a bit. Thorne is the perfect comedic rake, I love his and Cinder's platonic partnership! Meyer has a real knack for creating kick-butt heroines. Even though Scarlet and Cinder are two very different characters, with very different personalities and upbringings, they're both still so relatable and likeable, you just want to clap for their victories and cringe at their failures.

And Wolf *Sigh* I love this beast (excuse me I mean man). He is the strong silent type, but he puts Scarlet above everything and everyone, and will do whatever it takes to keep her safe, even if that means keeping a few secrets of his own...

The chemistry between these two was great and the build up towards the relationship was paced perfectly!

I thoroughly enjoyed the way Meyer interconnected all her characters throughout Scarlet through multiple narratives. We're given a wider scope of the futuristic world that Meyer has created in her Lunar Chronicles series.

The ending was great at wrapping up some plots while creating the groundwork for the showdown that's sure to occur in the next instalment.

Just writing this review makes me want to read Scarlet all over again. I love all the characters and am eagerly awaiting book #3! Go pre-order Scarlet now! This series just gets better!
